funk, fun, and framing

Last night, we went to a party for Hash Magazine in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Kelli ScarrMaG, and Rafiq Bhatia performed, definitely worth listening to. We left “early” and met the editor coming back with cases of beer. Pabst Blue Ribbon, (aka PBR) of course!

Rafiq is on the cover of the Hash Magazine propped up below their reflection, très cool. This random photo is a lesson in framing. I could have waited for the person (out of the frame on the right) to move so I could get more of the window for a better view of the band. Or I could have stepped to the left and moved in closer. But I just snapped in the moment… and there is nothing wrong with that…

SO much happening on a Saturday night in Brooklyn…
